We are Askim — a research-driven AI company founded by a cross-disciplinary team with roots in Europe and Latin America, working at the intersection of technology, governance, and sustainable development.

Our mission is to make artificial intelligence useful, understandable, and accessible—especially in contexts where digital transformation is overdue. We don’t just build algorithms; we design real solutions for real problems: from making public information searchable via chatbots, to digitizing archives, analyzing policy documents, optimizing operations, or powering intelligent tools that can support decision-making across industries.

Franco is a Paraguayan-Italian researcher, strategist, and policy expert with a MSc in International Administration and Global Governance from the University of Gothenburg. His professional and academic experience spans diplomatic relations, digital transformation policy, and public sector modernization. He has conducted field research across Latin America on different topics, helped implement digital tools in the Paraguayan Congress, and worked directly with embassies, international organizations, and reform-focused institutions.

At Askim, Franco leads the company’s strategic positioning, global outreach, and client engagement, ensuring our products are aligned with both technical feasibility and real-world relevance. With fluency in Italian, English and Spanish, he oversees partnerships across Europe and Latin America, manages market research and communication, and translates complex technology into compelling, human-centered use cases.

His background in governance and international relations helps guide our work not just toward innovation, but toward solutions that are context-aware, responsible, and designed to scale across borders.

Patricia is a German AI engineer with a double MSc in Artificial Intelligence from Ulm University and the University of Gothenburg. She brings over six years of experience in machine learning, simulation systems, sensor modeling, and statistical data analysis—with a particular focus on applied research and real-time predictive systems.

Her work experience spans multiple industries, from virtual simulation systems validation at Bosch to predictive model optimization for autonomous driving at Volvo. She has developed time series models for industrial data, trained LLM-based AI assistants, and implemented end-to-end AI pipelines from research to prototype. Fluent in German, English and Spanish, Patricia leads Askim’s product architecture, AI strategy, and technical R&D.
